The card game "Durak" ("Fool", "Dumb") is one of the most popular and widely played card games in the former Soviet Union. This version of the game allows you to play "Durak" ("Fool") offline, without the need for an internet connection, using a deck of 24, 36, or 52 cards.
"Durak" ("Fool") comes in two main variants: "Fool flip" (Durak podkidnoy) and "Fool transferable" (Durak Perevodnoy), each sharing similarities in rules but offering their own unique nuances.
The objective of the game is to discard all cards as quickly as possible. The first player to do so wins, while the last player holding cards becomes the "fool" (durak).
Flip Fool (durak podkidnoy) is a classic rendition where turns move clockwise with players throwing one card at a time until all cards are played. Conversely, Transferable Fool (durak transferable, durak perevodnoy) introduces a dynamic twist where players can strategically "transfer" cards to other players of similar rank and different suits.
